do I have to have a stroller-aged child?

Not at all. Some of our members have older kids who would rather walk than ride. Others have older children and they just choose to come to our dad-only events, which is fine as well.

Are there chapters in other cities?

Not at the moment but DSSC is coming to a major city near you in the future! Check our social media as we will eventually share an application where you can apply to be a chapter leader in your city. We have had such great success with our Dallas chapter and are intentionally researching ways to replicate that in other areas of the country. Thank you for your patience with us and we are so glad that you are interested in participating.

Do you have to be black to join?

DSSC was founded to be a safe space for fathers and father figures of color but fathers of all races and ethnicities are allowed and welcome to attend our events granted they keep these spaces safe for our other members.
